After a more than 40 year career in telecommunications, publishing, advertising, technology, consulting, retail sales and global manufacturing, I finally retired in 2024. I have always been most comfortable where the bleeding edge of technology meets a pressing business need. Recently, I secured a home loan through Rocket. The closing was not what I expected. I reviewed and digitally signed a dozen documents online the night before a signing agent was scheduled to come out to my house. The following morning she arrived with copies of the documents I had already signed and five more documents that needed to be signed and notarized. The whole process took 15 minutes. It was then that I decided to become a notary specializing in Signing Services and Remote Notary work.
